From 17 October - 1November 2009 Maurice's first art exhibition will open, at 28 Redchurch Street, London E2. The space is owned by Londonewcastle who have kindly lent it to us.
The exhibition is organised around the theme of the next Maurice – Creatures. We are showing the work of many of the artists who have been involved with Maurice, including Angus Fairhurst, Sam Griffin, Jamie Shovlin, Tessa Farmer, Ricky Gervais, and Benedetto Pietromarchi, and we are also showing the work of other artists including Steven Fisher, Quentin Blake, Barnaby Hosking, and Robert Stivers. Of course, children’s work is also included.
Artists have been selected by Andreas Leventis, formerly Director of Alison Jacques Gallery in London, artist Ella Du Cane, and Louise Stern. Children's events are produced by Shiraz Ksaiba. Please come and see the show. For any questions or more information please email sam@purplepr.com.
